Record and watch Watzi. I have family staying with us for the weekend, and a dinner party to cook on Saturday night, so going be hard to squeeze in cricket matches and F1 racing scratch

Just looked at score card from ODI 1 and WI performance appears to be insipid at best.

See NZ lost 5 wickets for no runs in 19 balls in their first innings during 2nd test in NZ. They where doing OK until that point now they are pushing it up hill.

Just watched a "fast forward" recording of the first ODI Watzi and was amazed at the WI collapse. Saw Xavier Doherty go for 18 runs (3 sixes) off one over, then gets 4 wickets! Thought that stumping was a close decision.

Man, the South Africans are giving it to the Kiwis...not that I don't love seeing it Laughing Steyn and Morkel blowing so well. Morkel 8 over, 3 for 8 and Steyn just hammering the batsmen with heaps of short stuff, hitting them on the body on a regular basis.

Australia 2-2 in the 50 over stuff and 1-1 in the 20 over stuff bit disappointing really. I would have thought score lines would have been a bit more lopsided than that. I guess that will change when the 5 day stuff starts Very Happy Go Aussies. Wade could be keeping, fingers crossed.

See Sri Lanka beat England in the first of 2 tests.

Queensland get up in what would appear to have been a really good shield final. Was hoping Tas would take the last 3 wickets quickly but not to be. Good to have a final that had a result.

Stumps on day 4 and it should be a great last day, after nothing seemingly going right for the Aussies the lower order show the batsmen how to do it then snap up some very quick and cheap wickets.

Hopefully rain stays away and we can wrap this up by tea bounce

Yeah Watzi, was some great cricket at the end of the day there. Rhino got 68, Gary (Lyons) 40, and then they have WI 4-17!

I have organised to work from home this week so I can record it and watch it in the morning while I am working Very Happy

Really hope they can whip through the rest of the wickets and get the win. Have been trying to work out if Aus have been playing crap or WI have been playing out of their skins Laughing

Well they did it just, but it is enough. Great declaration yesterday by Clarke.

Yeah, they certainly made it hard for themselves. Luckily WI bowled rather average in Aus second innings. Was a toss up to see who would win...Aus, WI, the rain, or the light Razz

Interesting thought BM, he has been written off before and managed to get the runs when needed but it seems this has been happening to frequently.

Stumps day 3 and with the first test you would struggle to think there will be a result I guess the best one (or am I being hopeful) is that Australia end up 200-250 ahead and the Windies crumble in the chase.

Have just watched the highlights on www.foxsports.com.au was basically just Lyon and Hus wickets. The Chanderpal one looked the best, nicely deceived with flight.

Just watching the recordings on fast forward Watzi Smile Thought it was bad form seeing Baugh shaking his head when the Aussies appealed for Chanderpaul's dismissal. He was looking at the umpire trying to sway his decision.

Great crumble by WI though, from 4-230 to 9-250 at one stage. I reckon there will be a fair chance of a result on the last day if the wicket is turning like that now.

I do also love seeing WI waste referrals on "plumb" decisions, and then poor Chanderpaul (the only batsman in really good form) doesn't have one left. It would have been great if his decision had of been dodgy Very Happy

Well certainly could be a interesting last day. I read the wether is not looking so great so unlikely to get the 98 overs in the day so I am guessing a draw, but clypso calapseo could definitely be on the cars.

How do you watch in fast forward? 2x or 4x and go back when something interesting happens?

Series over and that it for Ozzie test match cricket for a while.

I think Wade is now well and truly the number 1 keeper based on recent performances, not sure I like Clarke publicly saying Haddin is still the number one because if Wade stays on it can not have great unity on the team where the wicket keeper feels he not that welcome.

Hey Watzi, I think it is just you and me using the forums Razz Was a great test, except for Chanderpaul Aus really dominated them in this test. How funny was it to see Clarke getting more wickets than our frontline spin bowler Laughing I am still a bit worried that we won't see Ricky playing test cricket again, but I suppose we will see how he is going through the domestic 5 day season.

Didn't hear that about Haddin, but he is sort of out of sight out of mind at the moment, so will be interesting to see if he makes a return.

Was a bit surprised initially when Chanderpaul was named player of the series but then saw he had 380 odd runs at 86. He is now the number 1 ranked test batsmen.

I think Ponting will get another shot but not sure what way they are going to go at the top of the order.

Well England is hopefully starting the self destruct. Pietersen is out of the 3rd test against South Africa for disciplinary reasons (bagging Strauss and Flower).

Yeah, heard something about him retiring, then un-retiring, then retiring again or something. Think he just does it for the attention.

Wow plenty going on in the cricket world.

2 matches away from the semi finals of the 2020 world cup and England are done (Sri Lanka and Windies through in pool A). Australia is through in the other side but just waiting on tonight s matches (Aus v Pak, Ind v SA).

Pura cup has started and some interesting results. Vics got up today and Qld giving it to SA (Phil Hughes standing up for SA with (95no) they may will struggle to avoid the follow on.
