Well the Australia got through the one day series with some great individual performances but could not bowl out Bangladesh in any of the 3 games. Did you watch at all BM? Anyone else?

Does any follow the IPL? I generally just look at the score cards each few days to see who from the internationals is doing what. Is Andrew Symonds playing this year? I have not seen his name at all.

Was just looking this morning and Andrew Symonds is playing for the Mumbai Indians and you will never guess who else is playing for them ....... Harbhajan Singh (as well as Tendulkar) recon they would be sitting at opposite ends of the players bench.

Yeah Watzi, watchex mos of the Bangladesh games. Really just a series to boost the Aussies ego, Bangladesh never had a chance. Seeing Watson going crazy the other night was fun though. 185 from 96 balls, with 15 sixes and 14 fours...awesome. He treated them with total contempt Razz

Symonds is definately playng in the IPL, tha is all he does now, plays cricket for a few weeks and gets paid 600k or more Smile In reference to hm and Harbajhan Singh, I think it is surprising what a crap load of money can do for a relationship Very Happy

Interesting test series between Pakistan and West Indies. Did not expect WI to win either test and they managed to get the first one. Really changing of the guard in the WI team did not know half the players.

Finally getting to the business end of the IPL with one team decided. Interesting finals format with 1v2 and 3v4. Then winner of 1 and 2 into the final and loser to play winner of 3 and 4. Especially when there is 10 teams in the comp.

Seen any of the England vs Sri Lanka series?

England are giving the Sri Lanka a fair hiding, expected England to win but not this easily.

India touring the West Indies (a 2020, 5 one dayers and 3 tests).

India won the 2020 and the one dayers 3-2.

First test just completed and the wicket obviously had something in it for the bowlers only one century (Dravid) and a highest team score of 262. India over the line by 63 runs. Key partnership was in India's first innings between Harbhajan and Raina, poor first batting by WI only making 173.

Did you see any BM?

Nah Watzi, haven't been watching any of the cricket lately. Too much other stuff going on, plus it doesn't excite me too much if Aussies aren't playing Smile

Geez England are give the Indians a good working over. Won the first test easily and well up in the second.

Not sure if I heard this right but I think if England win series by at least 2-0 the are number 1 ranked test side ??!!??!!

Wow what a few weeks in cricket. England sweep India to become number one in the world was expecting a much closer series that 4-0.

Australia manage to win a one day series and now in the first test are doing OK, well may not as well I thought.

Have you been watching BM? Wickets going every where today from what I have just ready on the cric info site. Super innings from Hussey. Taking a 168 run lead into the second dig and bang bang out go Watson and Punter, the rate this game is going it is going to be done by tomorrow. Lyon 5 for, have you heard much of this bloke? And Watson 3.

Working from home for a couple of days watzi, and luckily turned the tv on at 12:00, just as it was starting cheers Lowest score by SR at home in 5 years. Great bowling by Lyons, i haven't heard of him before either. Let's hope he isn't another one of those players (especially Aussie spinners) who has one great game then does nothing ever again. Their lead is almost 300, so wouldn't think they could lose it, so it is there for the Aussies to win.

Just got the vital wicket of Sangakkara so they are now 56/3 chasing 380ish.

Should be wrapped up by lunch tomorrow and hopefully the weather does not intervene to much.

Great day one and two for the Aussies.

I thought Khawaja should have batted at 3 but Marsh has done the job.

How annoyed would Watson be?? Great batting wicket, and he let's that one go. Did he think the gap between the wickets was big enough that the ball would go through? Razz

Would love to see Marsh get his ton, especially if his girlfriend is wearing a short skirt again lol!

Yep great start then 10/122, shambles. They will be chasing 250-270 which could be very interesting. Should be pretty much all over tonight.

Cummins looks like a great prospect. Whats your take BM? And Punter?

Ahhh not so close with the 250-270, they still have 3 wickets at lunch 284 and 48 runs for this partnership, seems like it is slipping away.

Well, fnally back on the ground needing 168. The groundsmen certainly weren't in any hurry to get the covers off tongue See if I can stay awake long enough to see a result.

They just got there and a great match from Cummins, seems well deserved for man of the match as well. I did not think they would get there so huge well done, great to win against good opposition away from home. Did you stay up BM?

Think there needs to be a few changes in the side but will see what the new selectors come up with for the summer.

Nah Watzi, was a school night Very Happy Recorded it amd watched it the next morning. Damn lucky to get away with it. There was an LBW call when they needed about 10 runs. The ump gave it not out, and SA reviewed it. It cam back to "Umpires Call". Only have the ball struck him in line...so close. Then Steyn dropped a caught and bowled off Cummins in the next over that went for 4.

I couldn't really pick fault with ajy of the players so can't say which ones should be dropped. Ponting got a few runs which probably keeps him around for a while, but considering his history it would be a tough call for him to be dumped from the team.
