Re: Formula 1 - 2011
I stuck with it to the end. Disappointing start again from Mark going him 5th to 7th . Awesome start by Alonso. Enjoyable race in the end, not great just enjoyable.
I can see why you would watch it that many times there was so much going on.

I can only guess that at the end he just figured he was not going to catch Jensen and switched off.
Pretty boring GP really, some great passing but over all just not enough racing. What did you all think?

Re: Formula 1 - 2011
Yeah, not a very exciting/interesting race Watzi. Only small piece of excitement was Webber passing Alonso twice, and Schumacher getting airborne
Pretty much all Vettel's now, going to be interesting for second place in the championship though. Wonder if Vettel will help Webber get second?

Did you hear that Massa and Hamilton nearly ended up in a punch on. Massa not real happy with Hamilton.

Bugger, was put sailing and forgot to record quali. Not used to quali/races being on at a reasonable hour. Have bookmarked the race for this arvo
Another great day of sport though, with Bathurst, Japan F1, RWC Quarter Final and the Vics vs QLD in the one day cricket

That was the strangest F1 Quali i have ever seen.
Wonder if the incident between Shuie & Hamilton was deliberate.

Re: Formula 1 - 2011
I fast forwarded through most of it, maybe I missed the good parts Was trying to watch 4 sports at the same time
Re: Formula 1 - 2011
I quite enjoyed the race as well Ulti. While there was not as much overtaking as other races it was really close between groups of drivers.
Webber got of the line OK for the first time in ages, and did not lose any places, not sure about Vettels start though. As for Hamilton on Massa, I guess it must be harder to see other cars on at Suzka than anyother circuit
Lucky Bathurst finished just as the F1 was starting and with the rugby as well it was a full weekend of sport.

Re: Formula 1 - 2011
Hopefully Stoner will wrap that up in the next couple of races too (hoping there isn't only 2 races leftt, otherwise that could be a silly comment) What a great combination it has been, Stoner and the Repsol Honda.
Re: Formula 1 - 2011
I quite enjoyed tonight race, even with Vettel running so far out in front. There was a great battle for 2-3 and else where in the field.
I actually got my hopes up when Webber was running 3rd on the soft tyre and Vettel and Hamilton where on the super soft. They where carrying on about his chances and then he pits when Hamilton does. I was expecting him to go way further than that.
Is there anything else left in F1 season now, drivers title gone as well as the constructors.

Re: Formula 1 - 2011
The latest press release from Ferrari:
The Ferrari F1 team fired their entire pit crew yesterday."
This announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the British government's 'Work for your Dole' scheme and employ some Glasgow youngsters.
The decision to hire them was brought about by a recent documentary on how unemployed youths from Castlemilk were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Ferrari's existing crew could only do it in 8 seconds with millions of pounds worth of high tech equipment.
It was thought to be an excellent, bold move by the Ferrari management team as most races are won and lost in the pits, giving Ferrari an advantage over every other team..
However, Ferrari got more than they bargained for! At the crew's first practice session, not only was the Glasgow pit crew able to change all four wheels in under 6 seconds but, within 12 seconds, they had re-sprayed, re-badged and sold the car to the Mclaren team for 8 cases of Stella, a bag of weed and some photos of Lewis Hamilton's bird in the shower.

Re: Formula 1 - 2011
We are racing in India this weekend and was looking to see what Free Practice 1 times where like and saw that the session had been red flagged, a dog had wandered onto the track.
Hamilton topped time sheets with Vettel then Webber.
I did wonder how they did Fantasy F1 Ulti, thanks to your link I now know.
