Did not get up or even record the qually last night but was super shocked when the first thing I did was look at the time sheets and Hulkenberg was nearly 2 seconds faster on pole. I am very tempted to get up and watch this tomorrow morning as I think it could be a incredible race given where every one is.

Hopefully Webber can get a really good start, he is going to need to with Alonso behind him and Hamilton beside him.

Anyone else getting up? Or will you just wait for the results in the morning?

I'm working from home tomorrow Watzi, so I will record it and watch it in the morning before I can see the results Hulky was just over 1 second up on the rest, an amazing effort. I just want Webber to finish in front of Alonso, with Vettel retired They were saying that if Alonso wins, and Webber finishes 5th or lower, Alonso has the championship sewn up.

Nice BM. If I don't watch it I will look up the result when I get up in the morning so have decided to stay up and watch.

There has been some interesting articles and interviews I have seen with Webber and Vettel over the last 24 hours. Both basically saying they are doing what ever the team needs.

Well, a pretty boring race really. Hulky did a great job of holding everybody up, and Webber was lucky to get past him on the second corner.

How exciting is it though, the championship decided on the last race of the season with 4 drivers, well I think only 3, in with a chance. According to my dodgy calculations, Webber needs to finish at least 2 places in front of Alonso, and also beat Vettel. If the final placings in the last race are Webber, Vettel, Alonso, it would be a tie between Webber and Vettel. Do they do a countack or something if that is the case?

Yep agree totally BM the only exciting parts was the start of the first lap and the safety car. Am glad that I got up and watched it but it was quite boring. Did you watch it normally or fast forward to the end?

I think if they are tied on points then it goes to who has won the most races, if that is tied, not sure what is next.

Yep recon Alonso will do much the same as what he did this weekend. Not sure which of the cars is better suited to Abu Dhabi but that 7 points will be critical that he got by having Massa let him by. I just have a feeling that if they are running Vettel, Webber and Alonso that Vettel will let Webber past (or maybe that is a hope ).

I just don't see Webber winning the championship. I am more than happy to be proven wrong, and hope that I am, but I just see too many things against him. Cjristian Horner is really shitting me. His smarmy attitude when he talks about the team just grates on me. I would just LOVE to see Webber win the championship then leave Red Bull and go to Ferrari like the rumours say. I do personally believe Vettel is a faster driver than Webber, maybe just not a better decision maker. Of course if he is winning and moves over to let Webber past to win the championship, we will all have to start loving him then too

I just can't see Vettel pulling over for Webber - Especially if Webber is 2nd & Alonso is 3rd.

Practice 1 and 2 and Hamilton from Vettel, Alonso and Webber but very very close. Looking forward to qualifying tonight.

*sigh* qualifying done and dusted and the winner is ........ Alonso (yeah I know Vettel is on pole). He has done what he needs to set himself up for the championship. Webber just never seemed to have the pace of Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton through all the 3 sessions. Have not heard wether anything is going to happen with the stewards and Hamilton (but I am guessing by now it would have if it was).

Should be a very interesting start with Hamilton and Vettel down to the first corner.

The engine inside Webbers car is the same one that was overheating in the last race.

Any smart engineer would tell you that it would need changing.

Surely Mark hasn't used up all his engine allocations.

Webber changed engines on Friday so a used engine but not the same as last race.
