If they mounted it the other way it would have angled upwards and been in the way of the beer! Geez Will, what's more important, changing gears or beer? Razz

Well to be honest why should you be putting it in a glass.

Why not remove the beer tap, put in a pump & map a button on the steering wheel.

Then there would be no need to move your hands from the steering wheel.

Well, due to limited space in my home office, and there already being a working area present, I have had to disassemble my old desk and racing attachment. So, did a quick search on eBay to see what was around, and heaps came up. Not necessarily looking at this one, but had a concern about it http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PLAYSEAT-Evolution-Cockpit-Frame-ALCANTARA-SCHWARZ-/120746161859?pt=AU_Video_Game_Accessories&hash=item1c1d0836c3#ht_1683wt_842. If the bar holding the wheel mount is in the middle like that, wouldn't it get in the way of the middle pedal?

Hmmm..this does look interesting http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-APIGA-AP2-PLUS-Racing-Wheel-Full-Cockpit-Frame-GT5-/220841222745?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item336b29a259.

Could mount my seat on it.

Edit. Actually, that is the folding one. I would prfer the AP1, http://www.apiga.com.hk/en/ap1.html, which can also come without the seat, and would look the same as the one at the top of the page if i added my seat.

Also noticed this for a decent flight sim setup Razz http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Simkits-Cessna-C172-Cockpit-Flight-Simulator-TRC472-/220840334476?pt=AU_Transportation_Collectables&hash=item336b1c148c

Optional accessories:

+ Keyboard Mount US$ 45 (must install opposite to shifter mount)
+ Mouse/Speaker Mount US$ 15/pc (max 2pcs install per stand)

Shipping to Australia, due to size & weight limit by post office, we can only ship by EMS Speedpost, delivery approx 4-6 business days, actual cost: US$ 230

Will have to try and track down an Aussie distributor, or find something else.

How good does the "Coming Soon $899" one look in this advert?

Awww..just got a reply from Apiga Australia, that the AP1 I want is now in stock in Sydney for $450 and only $30 for shipping. I couldn't justify it for over $600 (including $215 for shipping), but for $480 I don't see how I can pass on it scratch

I have a racing seat, but it is just mountd on a wooden frame. Does the job alright though. Was going to buy that Apiga one, and exchanged emals with the Aus contact, but have to spend a couple of grand on new sailing gear so it took a back seat..so to speak Laughing

Hmmm..have found another possible driving seat frame http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Monza-Racing-Cockpit-Simulator-Playstation-New-/170788277796?pt=AU_PC_Video_Games_Games&hash=item27c3c64e24#ht_2214wt_922. Another seller has the same one for $360 plus $70 courier. Only pasrt I am worried about is that the steering wheel standard doesn't pivot, it only raises or lowers. On my current setup I have it angled down a bit, although that might be necessary because my seat is lower.

Other big problem is that our cat has made my racing seat her bed, and I would feel too guilty kicking her off it No
