Super Roo Racing

Hey Guys, just thought id mentioned this as you guys may be interest. Not sure if any of you remember [CX] Jasper from DOD. He has setup a new site called Super Roo racing - www.superooracing.com/

He is setting up race series just for fun like we use to do with a bunch of the other CX boys. So I thought id mention it, not sure when the first series will start but ill let you know as soon as i hear.

They also do have a TS channel which they use for it too and i can give you the details if you want.

Ulti, happy to turn some laps with you and CX boys, just as long as it is not serious because I am still cr@p and have not fired up rFactor in some months now, and then several months before that one time.

Just an update for you guys. There are going to be 3 different racing category's running. Formula 1, V8's and the 3rd is to be a fun category which will rotate what mod is being raced. So the 3rd category will be things like mini series, megane, v8 legends etc. At the moment the first mod for the 3rd category will be V8 legends.

Just an update, the server is up and running. Its running the FSR 2011 mod at the moment, had a run last night with 2 of the other guys. Would be great to see you guys jump on for a run too. If you need a hand setting it up or anything just let me know.

In the middle of building 2 new computer this weekend. (Media PC & Gaming Rig)

I hope I'll have it all up & running tomorrow night & will be looking for a test run.

Hey Ulti, is the server running the FVR 2011 V8 mod or the F1 FSR 2011 mod?

I can't find the server to be able to look myself sorry

It was running the F1 FSR 2011 mod, i had a look last night cause i wanted to have a run but it has been shut down atm. It will be back up in a day or 2, ill post about it when its up.

Thanks Ulti. I have my wheel, pedals, seat etc all setup again, and did a few laps yesterday on the FVR 2011 V8 mod. Can't say it was anything special, but I have never been a fan of V8s anyway

Edit: Ok, found it Ulti. Apparently it is online after 18:30 of a night.

On another note forced cockpit view . Gives me motion sickness in cockpit view of the F1s

hmmm ill talk to jasper about the server, im sure it was meant to be running all the time and the cockpit forcing.

What's the story with SRR Ulti? There doesn't seem to be much action on the forums, and I hardly ever see the server up and running. When I do see it there is never anybody on it.

I was having a great time on the Xfactorracing (www.xfactorracing.com) server last night with about 10 others, mainly Aussies. they are another Australian rFactor community and seem like a good bunch of blokes. I have raced against a few of them at ORA and other places. The server I was on was running the Endurance Series mod which I love, and only the GT2 class. Ended up qualifying 3rd out of 10 cars, and stepped away during the 5 minute warmup, but the race started early so I missed it Sent a message to their admin "Nibiru" who sent me an apology. Wasn't really their fault anyway.

Will be keeping an eye out to see when there are drivers on their servers again. Their web site shows the drivers on their servers, so saves having to fire up rFactor to check

yeah not sure exactly whats going on or whats going to happen with it. I know Jasper has been busy with work and house building and it may not go any further though i know he really wants it too. Id be happy if we just got what we had previously going again

The XFactorracing guys are running the V8 Utes for the next couple of Friday night. Hopefully I will be there, not sure if anybody else wants to have a run.

Well I am back in the PC world (nearly bought a Mac desktop, they look really nice). My old PC (it was so old it still only had a single core) was becoming so hard to play any thing on that I have finally upgraded the whole system. I did not get the greatest graphics card in the world but at least it seems to produce better fps than the old one. Now just gota find space to get the wheel out on the desk and I should be back in business for turning some laps.
