Thanks Ulti, I hadn't seen that. My father passed away today, so I will have to wait until later in the week when we get back home.

Use the bottom of the two links Ulti has posted.

I had trouble with the first link.

Thanks Ulti

Anybody given rF2 a try yet? Had a great night of racing tonight, in the 1960s F1s around Monaco with about 7 other cars...awesome bounce Funny part, is because it shows your actual name, I realised I was racing against a guy I went to school with Razz

Will be better with some more mods, but the 1960s F1s are excellent. Currently there is only the 1960s F1s, Nissan GTRs, Renault Meganes and the open wheelers (can't remember what they are).

Not sure my PC would run it but I may will give it a go if the price is not too expensive.

Did Tia get off the racing seat long enough to let you use it?

Hopefully will be firing this up soon & we can go racing again.

Yep, beta was released a few months ago Watzi. You have to pay for it, but that allows you to effectively be a beta tester before the actual release.

Hey Ulti, how's things mate? Not often that I check these forums lately, and haven't played anything on my pc for a long time. Have spent the last 8 months in training for my first marathon which I completed back in October (slow time because I took an injury into it and couldn't run for 2 months leading up to event, but I did finish tongue ), and now planning the next event, maybe the 50k event of the North Face 100 (http://www.thenorthface100.com.au/) that my nephew is doing, or the Ocean Road 45k Marathon. Also got retrenched, like a lot of people seem to be in the IT industry at present, so decided to take a few months off seeing as I had not had a decent break for about 29 years Smile  Been really enjoying it, and now decided that I had better get back to work, or I will never want to Razz Have kept in contact with Willy/Grant, but no idea what the others are up to.

In relation to rFactor, I got a bit sick of all the releases when the beta was first released. Seemed to have to do a full re-install of the base and all the mods everytime a new version came out. Have just downloaded the latest version and will try to get it all installed again. We recently moved house so don't have all my rig setup, and might not be enough room in my new home office because of so much gym gear in it too scratch

Hey BM, yeah things are going well at the moment. yeah wasn't sure if you guys were still checking these forums but thought id see Smile. That is some awesome stuff there with the marathons bud. Yeah sucks to hear about the retenching mate been through that alot again. Was working for sega this year in brisbane but board of directors decided to shut us down. So I am now in Sydney working for Wargaming.net tech studio. Only been 7 weeks so far but its going well.

Yeah was waiting for rfactor 2 to be fully released before jumping into it but now that it is im getting pretty keen for some fun racing as is a mate of mine. The other game which is looking good but not yet released is Assetto Corsa. Been getting lots of praise from my old sim racing guys. Need to get a new setup too but thats easy Smile

Thanks mate, really enjoying the running. The few months my wife let me have off between jobs has been great for my fitness and tan Razz I see the retrenchment as a huge positive for me, as I was so miserable in my last job, but couldn't bring myself to resign as I had been there for 12 years and didn't want to throw away the years of service, hoping to be made redundant. Also one of those things where you don't want to leave your comfort zone, plus as I worked form home a fair bit I could slack off a lot tongue  Am now talking to a few companies about stepping up to the next level..i.e Account Manager/Business Development Manager, which is something that really suits me. Have a few days contract work which pays REALLY well, and means I can work 4-5 days a month for a couple of months while we get past Christmas.

Had never heard of Assetto Corsa, but just found this thread http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/17003-Assetto-Corsa-Respectful-Comparison. Will keep an eye on it.

Nice video of it here, looks nice! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm_O5qv-ZF0

Well after being told to come look......... here i am. cheers

We'll like BM i have packed up the steering wheel as i had not been using it.

At the moment I am unemployed so have been limiting the spending till i get the job part sorted out.

I would be very interested in getting back into it as i did really enjoy our sessions.

Prior to loosing the job i purchased a PS3 & have been playing that of late.
However the online part sucks in GTA V as there are so many tool heads.

You too Will, damn sorry to hear that. Yeah as I mentioned im keen to get back into some fun racing like we use too. Been talking to a mate of mine who use to race with some of his old co-workers in f1 2010/11 and hes keen on some fun friendly racing. Would be great to get a few of us back for some of that in some of the newer sims in the future. I didnt bring my wheel down to sydney so id have to get one

Don't feel too sorry for him, he has picked up a job ;-) (hope you don't mind me announcing that Willy?)

On another note, bought a replacement power supply for my G25, so can use that  cheers Also purchased this DTM mod for rF2 from these guys http://www.unitedracingdesign.com/. Cost about $15.00, and is awesome around Nordschleife  bounce I can always back the file up to the net somewhere if required  Wink  Can't wait for their Endurance mod.

Thanks Ulti and you as well.

I have had a hugely busy start to the year but things are settling down now and hopefully I can get back to some gaming amongst many things.
