Well, we knew who it was anyway:

Not sure what all the fuss is about. Like the article said, the information has been in the public domain for over a year. As I understood it, it wasn't because of someone seeing the suit in his house, it was that his autobiography had been leaked or whatever. I wonder why he wrote the book in the first place....Money obviously, but, surely he knew it would bust up the Top Gear relationship that he had going....

Agreed we all knew who he was, but i am wondering if this is a ploy by BBC for publicity.

I bet you will see a show with Collins in it but they will have someone else as the stig.

Read yesterday that Clarkson has sacked the Stig (and it mentioned where the name the Stig came from, name Clarkson and his friends came up with at school for newbies).

It was also muted that Collins would probably have his own show.
