High Octane Overboost

Ever seen this show, High Octane Overboost? Was watching it on Foxtel the other night and thought of you They had a segment racing around a track in japan of the fastest street cars in the world. Nissans, Mazdas etc putting out 700 and 800 HP These things were amazing!

nah i havent watched (well not that i remember), i do remember hearing about a program like that. Might have to find out when its on.

Its pretty insane the power figures people can get out of jap cars. With the proper mods you can get over 1000hp from a supra, a silvia can have over 300kw atw from a 4cyl. They are damn good cars

Man, have been watching a similar show on Foxtel a couple of times called "High Octane Detonate". The lates episode had a speed challenge on the Autobahn in Germany between a Kawasaki ZX12R bike and a Toyota Supra (not standard of course ). The bike got to a top speed of 314kp, but the Supra hit 321kph!!! The acceleration from 260kph to 320kph was phenominal Probably could have got more but he had a fuel pressure problem. They also had an old Toyota Corolla with 2 x 350 HP motors, one in the front and one in the back, with 2 linked gearboxes runnign through all 4 wheels

2 motors in a corolla, thats crazy. Guess i need to go find some torrents and download these shows

yes, I think there would be a couple of "rice burners" o their show that would gt you rather aroused Ulti I do still have that wheel here if you ever want it.
